to Do Ones Bit

We are starting off the year in the manner in which we intend to carry on.

Today was the first meeting of the year of Beach Buddies - the islands beach cleaning charity.

So here you see grand daughter Ella really having to work hard to find rubbish.  In the background is Peel Castle.  Viking remains were excavated there some years ago.

There was remarkably little rubbish to find - so well done Peel!

So then there was a good excuse whilst on the seafront to have an ice cream....
