Red

Today our camera club made a photowalk trip to the archipelago at Taipalsaari. Only -3 C of frost and hardly no wind, so excellent weather conditions for a walk on the lake ice. Someone was even driving with a car, I only missed the car, but got the tyre tracks captured (check the extra image). Our main target was Ruusin Turasalo island which located two km's from the mainland and is historically very valuable, due of signs of neolithic life in there. Ancient rock paintings, sacrificial stones etc. Very interesting place and therefore in island there are also 4 geocaches hided, which I also logged.

My blip I captured on the way to the island and just couldn't pass this red spot on pure white snow.  All in all we hiked 9,5 km's and it took 3 hours and 15 minutes including one snack & hot tea break. Great fun!
