Banking used to have style and character as illustrated here in the vestibule of RBS Edinburgh -superb bench and Village Myths by Alan Davie- but now our local branch is mechanised to look like a Las Vegas gambling hall. And of course in banking your money you do not lose; but scarcely profit.
