Weather is still unseasonably warm - pleasant walk with Maisie along to Scoughall this morning.   Lots of folks out at the weekend enjoying the mild winter.    Listened to the dramatization of  Sunset Song which, I understand is meant to be a classic.   Maybe the book is better than the radio 4 play - i'll persevere with the second part.  

Did a spot of gardening this afternoon and brought the last surviving rose into the house for a spot of photography.  Not feeling terribly inspired but here is my best effort.   Painterly effect curtesy of photoshop.
