Oh Rowan Tree!

On my way into Drymen today I noticed an abundance of lovely red berries on the rowan trees along the roadside. There seem to be lots of myths about the rowan, which you can read here if you're interested. Another myth is that a large crop of berries means we're in for a harsh winter, but it is just an old wives' tale!
