Ethereal....
I had to be persuaded to go out this morning. It was really foggy, so I wasn't keen. But when we got to Trentham it was so atmospheric.
There was a shifting mist on the lake which had almost disappeared by the time we left.
The final remnant from Christmas - the tree - was dragged out into the garden via the French windows leaving a trail of needles.
As we were doing this the phone went. It was security where my other half worked. There had been a major flood in the library. So he headed in to see what needed to be done to sort it all out. This was around 12pm. I didn't see him again until around 8pm! It was quite a job to remove material and assess the damage. He had a good team of staff who were able to come in and help. And that's what you need in these situations.
