Winter Wonderland

Woke up to winter wonderland. 
More or less snowed in - only way out is on foot. 
An afternoon walk revealed several trees lost branches from the weight of the snow (pictured) that completely blocked the road, and neighbours building an igloo (extras).  Although Harry couldn't get past the snow on the fire escape, Persembe managed, and came with me, and absolutely loved it!  Campus is so magical  and wonderful like this and so I am indulging in six extra pics today.  Everywhere is so utterly silent in the snow - even the kids' voices are muffled. 

Back home and cooked a meal from what I could find in the fridge (shopping being impossible!) with some UK TV and FB time. Actually, it turned out ok - sort of lentil, carrot, cheese and onion bake.
