Unexpected seaside

Wasn't expecting to be posting this blip! Snow at Istanbul closed the airport so we were diverted to Antalya instead -a small airport not expecting lots of long haul flights to arrive. Complete chaos with absolutely no one from the airline at the airport to help sort things out. Eventually 11 hours after landing we have our bags and are at a hotel resort an hour from the airport. Still no news or any form of communication from the airline but at least we have a bed, food and drink - the hotel staff have been brilliant!

Lesson learned - never fly Turkish Airlines!
