Franz Josef Glacier

The weather was a bit brighter today so we walked as far as we could along one of the trails towards the base of the Franz Josef Glacier.  

Lots of waterfalls, fast flowing rivers and general rock debris left by the retreating ice.  Good walk and lots of people out enjoying the scenery and taking pictures.

Great place and glad that it has stopped raining.  Still cloudy and misty though and can't see the tops of the mountains which is a pity.
