Don't count your chickens before they hatch ..... nor the Camellias before they bloom!
I blipped this shrub when I bought it last January and remarked it already had buds. Only about six, but I anticipated lovely blooms in the spring. What did I get? Just one - all the rest of the buds fell off! A friend advised me to move it to an area where the sun would not shine on it when the plant was frosty as this is what causes the buds to drop. This has been done, it now doesn't get the sun until midday. 
It is covered in buds - I counted over 30 - dare I hope for a lovely display of blooms this year?  Pics will follow in due course if so.
