Took dad to the SMART Centre at Astley Ainslie to find out about (and test drive) mobility scooters this morning. He was far more interested in the price than the practicalities of how to secure it, charge it and store it, so no change there. However the OT reckoned he was safe to use one, so we'll follow that up.

The bank doesn't stock Euros, so I had to go to M&S for them. Crazy, when you think about it, getting your money from a dress shop, but that's 21st century banks for you - fekn useless. Did tons of other useful stuff, like remembering the PIN for my 'abroad' Visa card, which was good because yesterday was really shit - hence no journal words!

Today's blip is a flower, because the back garden is dead handy for what we used to call an emergency blip. Blow it up.
