Nulla dies sine linea

No day without a line.

I traced this back as early as Pliny the Elder (quoting a 4th c. B.C. painter, Appelles, to whom linea meant a traced line) and as late as Whistler (he whose mother we all know).

Meant for artists, but writers took it up.
Big trouble if you're both!
Only 24 hours in a day.
So when you miss a day, you have to tell yourself
(see thumbnail), "No sin!"

Silly? Snowy! Sticking! Brings out my girlish delight.
This is my blipline for yesterday, when Blip was down.
Today, off to blip the snow.
