Market Day

It was barely 9am, the market square  still shrouded in mist and a certain dampness in the air, so it has scarcely surprising there were few market goers in Salisbury early on today.
Even at this hour most Saturdays you’ll find the place busy, with canny shoppers knowing that the best choices are to be made early morning, whatever your reason for visiting the market.
Still couldn’t resist spending some time there though, especially when market  fresh vegetables  and fruit always appear much more enticing than at my customary Saturday visit supermarket.

So rain or shine, the market is always a favourite attraction.
