St Edmund's Church, Dudley

I went to St Edmund's School in the 1950's (it is now the Dudley Mosque), and the church is only about 100metres away, and obviously there was a connection (the Vicar of St Edmund's, John Bebb, used to give talks at the school, and his daughter Ruth attended the school prior to serious illness). St Edmund's was 'Bottom Church' (ie near the lower part of Dudley), while St Thomas' was 'Top Church', near the highest part of Dudley, but oddly, at least in those days, St Edmund's was 'High Church', while St Thomas' was 'Low Church'! [For those who don't understand the terms, put (over) simply, High Church tends to involve chanting, ornate clothing, and is at the RC end of the faith, while Low Church does not go in for these things, and is closer to non-conformist.]
I'd like to see the inside again some time - the exterior of the church is really not very impressive, and I don't think it ever was, even allowing for the fact that it is now defaced by graffiti, warnings to thieves, and security grills.
