A little late; Susan's card for 2016

Apologies for the late posting of today's blip and for not replying yet to comments. The outage happened at the only time in the day that I could have uploaded a shot and written my journal.

It might seem odd posting a Christmas card on what I think may be 12th Night. I'm never too sure what night 12th Night is but I didn't want to post Susan's card for 2016 before Christmas as it may have spoilt the surprise for some people and this is the first opportunity I've had to do so. And it makes a good option on a dull dreary day.

The day itself was highjacked by having to take Doreen to visit the doctor in the morning owing to a persistent cough, which is a concern for a 91 year old especially as she is due an eye procedure next week. The morning was written off, no visit to the gym and only time for me to go for a swim later in the afternoon.

While Susan was at the doctors I trawled around many shops looking for various items coming home with as many issues as I went. The T4 strip lights for the under cupboard lights in the kitchen turned out to be a different size to the T4 already in the fitting. And the LED G4 bulb for a spotlight turned out to be too large for the spotlight and the halogen equivalent seems difficult to find.
