Young Musicians

"Grantasia," an evening program involving 850 students in orchestra, jazz, choir and dance puts the spotlight on the benefits of offering the arts in our schools. The dedication of the educators involved in this highly regarded high school program is stunning. The multicultural program included a student art sale and musical pieces addressing diversity and inclusivity. As the auditorium emptied and the halls filled with these vibrant youngsters, their families, and the public who came to celebrate their achievements, I felt a great sense of hope and joy in the future.
