Hawk

So glad I live near a wildlife refuge and Vancouver Lake, I spend many happy hours just 10 minutes from home exploring.  It was very cold and  fewer birds than usual out and about.  Only saw one bald eagle and he was not in an area I could get to.  This last year the eagle tree in my backyard came down, for 20 plus years we had a pair of bald eagles that would spend the winter with us.  I miss them this year.

This hawk just flew by and luckily my camera was ready!
