Portobello Prom

It's like the first blip of snowdrops, the first blip of Christmas lights - the first Cigs blip of the new year with the new year in the tag. 

And we didn't have to wait too long this year. Oh no. EH15 has obviously got immense kudos, so much so even Cigs is lending a hand making Porty cooler than cool these days. My understanding is that property prices have already risen by 5% since the latest batch of Cigs were reported, and with yet more of them on the way, prices seem set to rise even higher still.

After a day out plodding the John Muir Way (incidentally there is no confirmation of the rumour that they are considering changing the route of to take in Porty prom and the delights of CIgs, but secretly I believe negotiations are at an advanced stage), she came to mine. 

She had to be home for 5, and was going to get a bus but I offered her a lift as long as she didn't mind stopping off on the way. She agreed, not really knowing what the stop was. 

For once, she refused to get out the car and be part of the blip, so I quickly grabbed this and carried on. 

I've arranged to meet Baz and Herbie (they were in the NY day one) and have a proper look around for more Cigs. Something tells me there's more here to be found. 

White paint, dated 17; the whole gang name checked. I assume in order of importance with Deli top dog and NewKidOnTheBlock Loud languishing down at the bottom - how they got down that far to write their name I'll never know.
