Window Painting With Cats: Creating He(Art)!
The condensation on the bedroom window in the morning was too much temptation. And so Dexter and I decided to make some art.
I started with a heart shape, which dripped down the middle. Dexter climbed up and added his own touch - some paw prints to the left.
Look at the artist's form! Look at his focus! Look at his stance!
The arrow-straightness of his body. His feet tucked close together. His tail on high alert sticking straight out.
The left paw raised, with the tip just above his left ear. (Wait, what - a lefty!?) A picture of total concentration.
That's how we do it: creating art.
It will not last, of course, this art of ours. (But nothing lasts. No, nothing ever does.)
And of course, our he(art) was gone when the condensation left.
But in our memories and on the window still: a delicate imprint . . .
The shape of a heart.
The soundtrack: Heart (of course!), with What About Love?
