New Year Day Walk

A quiet day after Hogmanany. We were all up quite late so the walk occurs in the afternoon. So my partner, daughter and I, the teenage boys had only just woken up, decided to head up through Swanston Village to the Pentlands. I do get quite a few photos, but I can't swamp Blipfoto or I'll soon run out of Extras.

One of the ponies at the T Wood are being quite friendly. In fact the other came up to say hello.

I also capture, extra, a quite dramatic photo of this bush clinging to the side of the hill.

That's, in my opinion, the best two. The rest, I'll put on to Flickr.

Rather than continuing to Hillend, we head back through Swanston Village.

Buffet tea abandoned. Boys out to see a film. My daughter gets picked up by her mum. Quiet evening.
