Fourth Plinth

The current occupant of the ongoing Trafalgar Square fourth plinth art project.

Powerless Structures, Fig. 101 by Michael Elmgreen and Ingar Dragset - A sculpture of a boy on a rocking horse. 4.1 metres tall, cast in bronze. Unlike the square's other equestrian statues, which celebrate kings and military leaders, this is intended to portray "the heroism of growing up".

My earlier blip of the previous artwork, Nelson's Ship in a Bottle.
