Arthur

The forecast today was for rain .... it wasn't wrong! Yesterday's ideal walking conditions were long gone. The ground in Pollok Park was like like a quagmire in places. The Highland cattle were almost up to their knees in mud.

Not a good day for photography but the relentless rain did ease off a couple of times. When I was walking through the courtyard Arthur was just being returned to his stable after spending some time in the field with his pal Harry. Like us, the horses occasionally need to stretch their legs .... even in the rain.
