" CALIFORNIA DREAMING ?"

This is my Tibouchina (Californian Glory Bush) and why it is flowering now and not in the summer I don't know.  We had a frosty night recently so I covered it over with fleece.  I also protected my Protea (South Africa) and my Bougainvillea.  So far everything is still thriving although I notice some of the flowers have dropped from the Bougainvillea.

We took Matthew back on Tuesday and the house has been very quiet.  Today we have started to take down the Christmas trimmings.  Shelley helped me take the tree decorations down and assisted with the tree lights.  One set of lights have small balls attached to the lights and of course some of them came off.  Such fun!!!

We are boxing everything very carefully as we will have to move before the next one.
