Fluorescing garnets

The Radenthein Granatium garnet museum links directly to the old mineshafts which are now cleaned and lit for visitor access. The bands of garnet schist are easy to make out in torchlight. But when lit with ultraviolet, the garnets fluoresce brightly.

The extra is a prepared slab in the museum that is studded with purple garnets and blue kyanite crystals.
