Blowin' in the Wind

The Wanaka Yacht Club is hosting a Regatta this weekend.  This is the first race that set off at 6 p.m. tonight.  Don't you love the windy conditions.

I got the lawns mown this morning and took the clippings to the green waste.  Good to get this job out of the way.  This afternoon I joined Snowy at the Anglican Church to see a wedding.  We sat outside in her car, and had the best seats in the house!  It was pretty windy, the guests looked glamerous, with many of the men looking smart in their suits with 'tails''.  There were 6 bridesmaids and 2 flower girls.  They were wearing off white dresses, while the bride was wearing traditional white.  They all looked very pretty.

Said goodbye to my daughter who is heading back to work in Wellington. Sad to see her go as she has been such a help around the house. 

The extra is the queue at the ice cream shop!
