The Only Cloud

A morning of housework (yay) followed by coffee and lunch with daughter and granddaughter! We did also manage to sneak in the final few pieces of our last jigsaw puzzle.

A trip to B&Q (more yay) then home and time for a walk with Finlay before dark.

We wandered up to the top of the village to try and capture this huge plume of steam from Drax power station - it had been belching like this all day and it was the only 'cloud' in the otherwise cloudless sky.

I also tried a handheld moon shot (extra) as it was shining quite brightly in the dimming sky (quite a severe crop as it was tiny in the frame even at 300 mm).

Not sleeping well again as I am full of cold - more good news for the new year!
