Ice Castles

Jon and I took a ride up north a little ways (1.5 hours) to visit the Ice Castles in Lincoln NH.  I've always wanted to see this and it was worth the trip, though it was really cold (20F) with a light wind and we couldn't stay outside too long.  The sky was bright blue on one side and dark and forbidding on the other (not sure of the orientation).  Jon took the ice slide while I took his picture (see extra)!

I think it qualifies as an abstract too and since the theme is of our choosing, it's a go.  Thanks much to Ingeborg for hosting this challenge that is always fun to do.
