Carol: Rosie & Mr. Fun

By Carol

2017 Wednesday -- One Day Later

It has rained, I should say POURED, all day. The rain actually started late last night, so it has been interesting taking the pups outside so they can do their business.

Then middle of this afternoon, we decided to take a quick drive to our community public library, which is open three days a week -- Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. It was then that we took another tour of the town (having done so just yesterday--see yesterday's photo of the pier and creek). All the creeks in this little community have turned into raging rivers and the shoreline has experienced a considerable change. The waves all look brown like the muddy water of the Mississippi River. We are sure that is because lots of topsoil and plenty of sand have been washed to sea.

The weather prediction is that we'll receive lots more rain. I think the farmers of Central California are thrilled. The reservoirs are filling and that is certainly needed.

So that is the report from our tour of Cayucos town today.

From California's Central Coast,
Rosie (& Mr. Fun), aka Carol
