The power of Crystal

I've been trying my new lens out this evening and thought I would photograph my grandad's old pocket watch. I have had it in a tea tin along with some tea cards and some railway badges for about 20 years, it has never worked. I wanted something to prop it up against so I used a piece of rose quartz. Imagine my surprise when the watch started ticking! I could not believe it. I hadn't wound it or anything, in fact my dad told me that it didn't work because it had been overwound. It is still going strong, I think it's the healing power of the crystal!
