Properly Cold

It was really cold today, cold when Coco decided to go on a mouse hunt in the back garden at 5am, cold when I went out in my pyjamas and D's trainers to retrieve her when she was reluctant to come back in, still cold when I got up a little later and melted the ice on the birds water bowls, so cold I had to do this again when we came home from our morning walk and there was still a thick frost when we went out after lunch. Not complaining, it was a lovely day and we had two brilliant walks.
