Frozen landscape
I'm ridiculously pleased with this photo. We'd just left the car in the Benmore Gardens car park and crossed the slippery wooden bridge over which cars can drive as far as the Scottish Water plant on Loch Eck when I saw the frozen field and path beside the river. We'd not even walked as far as the gardens, and this was my first photo of the day. It was 11.20am, -1ºC, and it was perfect.
An hour and a bit later, we were enjoying apple and cinnamon scones and tea in the James Duncan café. What more could a body ask for?
