First day back

Back to Merrist Wood today but it was spookily free of 16 year olds. Just us oldies were in. We obviously were not buying enough coffee as the canteen closed early and my mid pm caffeine injection didn't happen. By 4.30 podsols, gleys and rendzinas were all merging into an amorphous mental gloop.
