My Mom hates when I throw away old bread.  So I decided to go for a walk this morning with her and feed the ducks and swans with the old bread.  Little did I know that due to the "Vogelgrippe" or Avian influenza we are not allowed to feed any birds.  Hmm.  We had to throw out the old bread anyway.  But we had a nice walk and enjoyed the fresh snow.

In the afternoon, we had an appointment in the children's hospital.  Got the results of Samantha's MRI last week.  To our relief, everything looks fine and no need to worry further about her back bone pain.  Looks like she grew a lot in the last few months and that might have caused the sudden pain.
