Watching and waiting

We had a short but very pleasant walk in the morning sun along the riverside before travelling home today.  On this stretch of water there were two Herons within about 100 yards and several Ducks so either there were loads of fish or none at all!  The  "extra" is of an extra Heron!
The washing is done; Christmas tree and decorations back in the loft and I suppose the duster will have to put in a brief appearance tomorrow .. .. .. :-(
