Sunset Song

After a bright but bitter cold day came a gentle sunset glow.
The thermometer barely got above zero and the grass stayed white all day.
Both MaggieD and I now have succumbed to the Lurgy bug. Neither of us has felt like doing anything much at all.
Today's extra photo is of some heavy duty power on the garage tracks. The green engine is "Flying Scotsman" of the LNER and the maroon one is "Princess Elizabeth", Bill Stanier's design for the old LMS. These old steam engines might have been dirty, noisy, polluting and brutally mechanistic but by the gods they had style!
