Update Mickey

Update Mickey: this morning Mickey was a bit better. We went to the University clinic Utrecht with a good friend Frederique (she drove the car). The CT scan went well...after that she vomited on dr. Yvonne van Zeeland. LOL. she was breathing heavily, but that was expected. Yvonne took blood while Mickey was in dream land... during the CT scan. In short. Little positive news. The Aspergillosis is reduced.. but.. not totally gone. So Mickey still has to be treated with the Voriconazol (the expensive med lol) for about 2 or 3 months. Her liver shrinked more... that is very good news! Today... without fluids in her tummy she weighted about 155 grams. So now we will keep this weight in mind as standard. The fat in her body was a bit less, but there still was too much fat. So.. Yvonne is thinking of giving Mickey more meds against the Cushings.

About last night... Yvonne doesn't think about an 'overdose' Furosemide, but more that the last injection didn't go well.. But the fact is... we never know. But she was very sick... and I am sooo happy she survived. As many of you already wrote... she is a TROOPER! and she is!! Thanks for all the support!
