Rowan
I had my second outing this afternoon - just a walk around through the wood, past the church and back home via a field. It was lovely and sunny, and a very pretty, crisp day, but the cold air did make my face hurt - just like being stabbed with needles.
I took some frosty shots, but the fact that they were still frosty meant that there was no sun on them, so the images were not that interesting.
I've therefore plumped for these plumpilicious rowan berries. I was surprised that the birds haven't scoffed them yet - then I read that "The fruit of the rowan or mountain ash is left untouched by bird and beast alike".
