Wood Carvings

Walking around town I came across a couple more wood carvings in the theme of the Twelve Days of Christmas. Tomorrow will be Twelfth Night, perhaps these carvings will vanish like Cinderella at the stroke of twelve.

The carving on the right is "10 Lords Leaping", on the left is (I presume) "Two Turtle Doves".

Much activity in Union Terrace Gardens, the Christmas Tree Maze is no more, instead the Christmas Trees were being fed into a large machine where they were rapidly devoured and became dust. The grass looks like a chequer board where it has been covered partially by the trees. I did not bother to work out the way through the former maze by following the marks on the grass.

So the signs of Christmas are rapidly disappearing, the Christmas Village is still open, though not many people were there today.
