A strange cloud in the sky caught my attention

So I biked to the River Humber shore and saw this over in Lincolnshire.
Is this natural? look at the second image.
How can it be?
As a species we are guilty of trying to poison the planet and should be ashamed of what we are doing.
All in the name of progress, but at what cost?
