Ching Shu Hin

Went out of town today to visit the New Territories and have a change from the skyscrapers of Central and Kowloon. The Ping Shan heritage trail winds through the countryside past various temples, a walled village, some clan ancestral halls, study halls and this guest hall. The buildings were very impressive but this courtyard in the guest house was the quietest and most welcoming. All of the buildings are related to the Tang clan and a lot of them are still in use. The clan has an amazing genealogy with the 89th generation moving to the south of China in about 650BC.
