Planet Lem

A proper festival evening... first we went to see Secret Weapon, a one man show about a teacher at the end of his tether... new writing, witty, great observation and characters and really well performed. I know some of the people involved with putting it together, but it was great to be able to genuinely praise it, as I thought it was well worth the money.

We then legged it across town to see Planet Lem, a strange sci fi creation. It was an out door spectacular by the polish company Teatr Biuro Podró?y. Robots (giant stilt walking performers, subjugating the human race with drugs) It reminded me of university, watching weird international physical theatre... but this time I haven't had to write an essay on it...

topped the evening off with late night pudding... and finally home...
