A Gift

I got a surprise "Thank You" gift of flowers and Prosecco today. Both are always appreciated but I had already stressed that our good turn to them was totally unconditional.

I am occasionally nice (yes, really!) but I hate it when the recipients of the kindness then feel they need to do something in return. However as soon as I saw the flowers I thought "Great!" I was so short of time to go blip hunting after a day doing a mid-week changeover at the lodge, a customer to see and an evening out with The Bro-in-Law.

This blip will be a nice reminder of those lovely people I met for the first time today. Life is being unkind to them, no one needs that.
