Butterflies

I have never seen as many butterflies as I have this year.  So many, and species that were uncommon are much more prevalent.

We also learnt today that 2016 was the second wettest year on record.  Maybe all that water had something to do with it.

This is a Painted Lady in a creeping boobialla.  The plant is an Australian native, and an excellent ground cover.

I finally got around to getting my elbow checked out.  Nothing sinister, just a nuisance, especially as it's my left elbow and I'm left handed.  I can't use my elbows as a tripod for a while - too painful.
