Venus and the Moon

Venus and the Moon are having a hard time saying good-bye to each other. Even the palm trees in our garden that normally comment the changing constellations at nightfall in a whispering conversation are in silence as they observe how Venus and the Moon hesitantly inch away from each other. 
People are commenting that the Moon has turned its back on Venus, probably to hide its tears. (Brazilians love drama and big sentiments.)

I suspect it's trying to hide its dark side.
