Little and large

This is the third fir tree the Corstorphine Fair committee have planted in the grounds of the Old Parish church grounds. Unfortunately the first was vandalised and the second died so hopefully this one will survive. Until it's big enough they will still put up a bigger one with lights on.

As it was garden waste collection day I passed lots of trees lying in the street in varying stages of decay.
