Pilot whale

I made a return to horsing this morning after a couple of weeks away from them. A good few hours getting Willie ridden out alongside Rosie in the cart. Then Debby rode Maggie, George on Djego leading Nettie and me on Little Ruby. Ruby just loves getting out and about and likes to be at the front to make sure she doesn't miss out on anything but at the same time is such a sweet and quiet horse. It's so lovely when you see a horse is clearly enjoying it's 'work'.

Tearing myself away from all things horsy it was time to get dogging with Gorgeous. We walked at Evie beach, keen to see the washed up Pilot whale. Sigyn signaled it's position on the beach by rolling all over it. I was really surprised to see that it had such pointy teeth, looked pretty shark like.

The whale carcass had already been spotted floating in early December 2016 and has washed up on the beach over Christmas.
