Mummy's girl

After a night spent listening and doxing to my book and skyping the family at 4 am (8 pm) to wish dad a happy 94th birthday, I didn't wake fully till nearly 9.

I was home alone this morning so there were some low key domestic chores undertaken, and some cross stitch. Olivia and her mum came home from preschool and then WH went off to work. Cue a screaming and crying child for 30 minutes. Eventually I took her swimming.

It was a lovely day today (by KL standards). No rain. In fact there has been very little rain this visit although we had a humdinger of a storm last night. We spent 2 hours at the pools. In the big piol Olivia practised her swimmi g and we also visited the fish.

I notice that the sun is setting more SW which means longer sun at the pool, and in the balcony and there was a lovely sky tonight with Venus and not fully dark till 7.30.

There was another screaming fit at bathtime which was halted when her daddy came home. She is very tired.

I did quite a bit of Santa Claus today and of sitting on the balcony.
