Reprieve

A view of Union Terrace Gardens. The motto written in flowers reads "Bon Accord". Not much accord regarding Union Terrace Gardens however. The council this week voted to cancel the proposed redevelopment of the gardens.

On the whole the Gardens themselves are not in bad shape. Some improvements would be beneficial to the park, lighting, toilets etc.. It would be good if the Council spends a million or two, of the Ninety millions pounds saved by not going ahead with the redevelopment, on some enhancements.
