Mutabilis
Another morning that did not encourage going outside seeking either exercise or photographic opportunities. S continues to finalise her exegesis, and when she needed a break we returned to the city. Just before leaving I went to the roadside front of the beach house and took some flower photos. Liked best this one of the mutabilis rose. It is described (by someone selling them) as:
Old Fashioned / China -
Attractive single blooms which change colour as they age from yellow, to pink, then coppery crimson.
This is therefore the second of the three colours this flower will have.
