Train Tracks to Nowhere...

...or at least it looks like that. Actually, it's just foggy.

I didn't tell you, but about 6 weeks ago, I went out behind the fence in our back yard, and there was a dead deer laying across a lawn chair. It had no apparent wounds, but possibly had got hit by a car?

It didn't take long for the scavengers to find the poor thing. After 2 days, our neighbor's son dragged her out near the railroad tracks to have nature take its course.

Trust me, it's not a pretty sight...or a pretty smell. In this picture, the carcass is just off to the right.
